Loyalty

I was once told, "If you want loyalty, get a dog" I have a dog, and there are but a few who measure up, and that is the shame of it all. As a species we don't measure by even a dogs standards, it seems we have become so self absorbed and self promotionally greedy that it matter not who, or what we trample to get our own way or get slightly ahead of the next. It's no wonder we find ourselves in perpetual conflict, as people, races, religions and regions. I watch my tv and I see ads where children tell adults to stop worrying about them and worry more about their children having a future, and it's obscene on so many levels I feel my head exploding, and if I need to explain why that's obscene on so many levels then we are truly lost. I guess I'm melancholy because of yesterdays news that Robin Williams took his own life. I suffer depression as do many people, and if a man like Robin Williams, with all the wealth at his disposal can't get help, then what ...

Any wonder

I have been thinking about this blog for a while and I just haven't found the right way to express myself without sounding like a whiny ass hole, which I probably am, but as I have your attention that makes you what...? There are a few things that have raised their heads again, and I wanted to just say something about it, obviously without offending anyone, though realistically that isn't going to be possible. Success, why is it so hard for a lot of people to be gracious about others success? If they took the gamble and worked hard, put themselves out there, risked it all and made a success of something, why is it that it can't be supported by their contemporaries? Why is it that these people choose to shun or be ass holes when one would think that the success of one benefits all, it just astounds me. Oh and please I know all that shit that people are ass holes and bla, bla blaaa fuck we have all heard it and at my age I have seen enough of it, still I choose to believe ...

So... It's been a while...

I know it's been a while since I posted something, but I'm not just gonna write garbage to fill a page with nothing, and contrary to Lewis Black, I'm a writer, I may not do it everyday, I may not have finished my book yet, but I have something to say and some things I need to share. I may never be a good writer, hell I'm probably a really bad one. I haven't written lately because of a few things that have taken place recently, and in many ways it might be petty, but I feel wounded by the whole experience. Some people have seen it fit to spread some rumours and lies about me and my character, now obviously I'm not going to mention who and what, as that not the kind of person I am, and Karmically you swing on your own pendulum. So whats is this all about? Well it's about your actions or lack of action, what you say and when you say it, and the fact that you don't speak up when you should. The fact that all stories have three sides, theirs, yours and a ver...

Neighbour

Yesterday morning I was woken, well not woken exactly, my neighbour incessant knocking dragged me me downstairs as her car would not start. Her name is "Alleluia" and it's Angolan, and nothing to do with Leonard Cohen, and even if it did, I would say it was due to Jeff Buckley as the Cohen original just isn't my bag at all, but I'm off on a tangent again. I went out to help, and after fining that she had asked, and no one had jumper cables, I said to her do you know how to jump start a car? Four pushes up and down the road proved she didn't and as I was close to a heart attack, I stopped. I asked her if she had spoken to the other neighbours? she hadn't so I did and eventually found some jumper cables. This got me thinking, a few years ago when I still lived in Johannesburg, in an affluent suburb called Northcliff, I remember always feeling under siege while there, we where shocked by what appeared to be the random shooting of a 16 year old school girl in...

57 BelAir

Just put together this piece for Mandy :MissHapp” Bronner, her all time favorite car a 57 Chevy Bel Air. I have kept the color palette the same as the rest of her arm so we keep a similar look to the sleeve.
